About Wolverton Centre Sidings

Welcome to the channel which is dedicated to the OO gauge model railway I am building in my shed.
The model is of the Wolverton Centre Sidings and the access to the Wolverton Carriage & Wagon Works built by the LNWR & opened in 1838 (LNWR/LMS/BREL/Knorre Bremise). I have deviated from the prototype for play value and is a "what if" layout by retaining some of the tracks that have been lifted & the demolished 3rd station building. (1882-1990)
This is based on the prototype which is on the west coast mainline between Central Milton Keynes railway station and Wolverton Railway Station on the outskirts of Wolverton In North Buckinghamshire.
Some artistic license and compression of the prototype is incorporated and the time frame is between 1984 to 2018 to allow a range of operation from BR Corporate to Privatisation
The layout is 4mm or 1/76 scale and the track gauge is OO. I run DCC and will be operating the layout with iTrain.
