We live in dangerous times. Our freedoms receded with each passing day, our privacy has vanished and will not be returned to us. In a world which is filled with lies, speaking the truth has become a crime.
They tell me to be silent, for the sake of my own safety. They tell me not to draw attention or make waves, lest I be killed by those who would repress us. I will not be silent. I will live as a free man until my life is taken from me. I will stand up for what I believe in and what is right. I will not be intimidated or silenced by those who would oppress my people.If we fail to stand together for our freedom, if we have not the courage to fight for it against those who would steal it away--and perhaps to die for it--we do not deserve to be free. I have determined that my life will stand for freedom, for truth and for the courage to stand and die--alone, if necessary--for the values I hold dear. It is better to live one day as a lion than a thousand years as a sheep.
