I am creating mini films for each butterfly I have videoed since 2009 using all my clips.

Good video footage of butterflies and moths is difficult and requires patience!

The aim of this channel is to provide you with a variety of butterfly and moth behaviour, such as egg-lyaing (ovipositing), feeding (nectaring) or just resting (roosting).

To begin with I was using the video capabilty on a compact camera but after investing in a Canon EOS 500D and then a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 I can now bring excellent footage in High Definition. Don't forget to click on the HD button to show the film in its true glory!

Other videos of the wonders of nature, in particularly insects, are also included on this channel.
