Starting to learn video editing as a hobby, using Da Vinci Resolve version 17 - hopefully will keep improving with the help of tutorials on youtube. The software can do amazing things - it's used by professional film makers - but I don't have the skills to show it off. The good thing is it's FREE to download and it's fun to explore. There are some great tutorial channels on youtube.

Why is DVR free? It's because the software is used alongside their main products which are hardware items. By providing the software for free (there is a one time cost for the full version, but the free version has almost all of the paid version), the brand gains exposure and popularity which would lead professionals to then invest in their hardware.
