Though I also like most types of music, I enjoy singing Elvis Presley songs as a hobby, and as a personal tribute to the greatest and most versatile singer ever. In a class of his own.

Without ever realising it, Elvis Presley not only changed popular music and the way we listen to it, but he broke down serious barriers and forever changed so many aspects of our culture. And he did it all without writing a single lyric!

Elvis' achievements are too numerous to list here but his most acclaimed is probably his worldwide sales of over one billion record units - more than anyone in the music business. Another well known milestone is being the first performer to be beamed live in concert via satellite to over one billion people worldwide.

Elvis defined the word 'Superstar' and was its first and biggest - They don't call him the King for nothing!

Tragically, Elvis died at the age of just 42 in August 1977 but his legacy lives on forever.
