My name is David and my passion and profession is Live edge furniture , mantles, wood sculptures, sawmilling, urban log recovery, CNC work, hand carving and wood working tutorials from tree to finished product.
We specialize in combining all woodworking techniques from the past to the present to create heirloom quality custom wood designs. I take my inspiration from George Nakishima, Michelangelo, Henry Moore, to the pioneers of chainsaw carving such as Skip Armstrong and many others. I am a Native Oregonian and operate a family run art gallery, Woodmizer sawmill, Lucas Mill, Laquna CNC, Digicarve CNC, many Stihl Chainsaws and lots of hand tools. my Goal is to inspire others to start woodworking at any level and take it as far as possible with any and all tools available.
