This channel features videos of shortwave radio signals that I have recorded using my own radios and antennas. No modes of fake shortwave reception like Web SDR or KIWI SDR are used on this channel (hybrid internet (telephone) and radio communications). Willow Slough is about pure radio.

The name of this channel: "Willow Slough" is the nearest significant body of water to my home residence. DX means "distant reception." The majority of my videos are recordings of shortwave broadcast stations 5,000 miles / 8,047 km or more distant from my location.

Shortwave reception varies by space weather, time of day, season and position in the 11-year solar cycle. It also varies by geographic location. You may expect to receive most of the shortwave signals that I receive if you are listening from the US West Coast or Intermountain West with comparable equipment. Dependent upon HF radio propagation conditions you may also receive these signals from locations anywhere on the planet.
