Glynis is a well-known actress of stage and screen, perhaps most recognisable for playing Makepeace in the hit 80’s cop show Dempsey & Makepeace. Since then she has regularly appeared on TV screens in series such as Night & Day, Emmerdale, The Royal and also as the infamous Glenda Mitchell in Eastenders. Most recently she was seen in fantasy series The Outpost as Gertrusha.

But her other passion is health. After the success of her yoga DVD with yoga expert Howard Napper, she founded agelessbyglynisbarber.com in 2012 to spread the word of healthy ageing. This was followed in 2015 with the publication of a best-selling diet book, The In-Sync Diet, written with nutritionist Fleur Borrelli. She is delighted to now bring all her tips, secrets and knowledge on all things health and beauty related to YouTube to complement her website.
