I'm Ryan (Ry to my friends), and welcome to my channel.

Since I was a kid, I'd write my own lyrics to popular (or not-so-popular) tunes because I wasn't able to make up my own, and loved word-play. ❤️

I've since written and recorded my own songs and music, but have in recent years shifted my focus to writing "parody" songs (I'm not so sure that's the correct term, as I'm no 'Weird Al' Yankovic).

Having written many songs about my favourite books and podcasts, and an occasional song about a movie, as of November 2023, I'm going to attempt to write more songs about media in general (news, movies, television, etc.). This is largely thanks to my tribute song for Matthew Perry, which helped me to see how people can come together to celebrate and lament through music.
