Hey y'all! I'm Craig aka thenaturalmedic! My channel is all about my adventures outdoors, plus tips, tricks, and hacks to help you enjoy the Outdoors SAFELY. I have been a Paramedic since 2014 and, prior to that, was a Park Ranger for the states of Arkansas and Texas. I do believe that it is possible to enjoy the outdoors and be budget-friendly too, so I also do product reviews when appropriate.

I am a backpacker, camper, hiker, geocacher, kayaker, etc. I try to be honest, giving you the good and bad of my experiences. I have backpacked and hiked many places in my home state of Texas and the surrounding states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and more! I hope to hike both of the long trails in Arkansas someday soon (Ouachita Trail and the Ozark Highlands Trail), but thus far, the most extensive Arkansas Trail I have tackled is Eagle Rock Loop.
