Jesus told His disciples to preach "repentance and remission of sins" (Luke 24:45-47) and that's where this channel begins. If you are looking for another "faith alone, instantly saved" message you've come to the wrong place.
God "now commands all men everywhere to repent" (Acts 17:30).
If we'll obey - "confessing and forsaking sin" - we'll enter His promised mercy (Prov 28:13). We'll be forgiven (1 John 1:9) and our past sins will be "blotted out" (Acts 3:19; Rom 3:25; 2 Peter 1:9). We'll have redemption from the death penalty we had earned for past sins (Romans 5:9; Titus 2:14). We'll receive the gift of the holy spirit, which God gives "to them that obey Him" (Acts 5:32) and "repent" (Acts 2:38). This is how we enter justification, no longer under condemnation (Rom 8:1). While we remain in His grace, we have "the hope of salvation" Paul wrote about (1 Thess 5:8,9): the promised gift of eternal life (1 Jn 2:25), to be received at Jesus' "revelation" —His return (1 Peter 1:13).
