I honestly love the process of learning... the initial spark of curiosity, the gathering of materials, pouring over the research, hunting for different viewpoints on each topic and mastering new skills. I am happiest when I am channeling my "inner nerd" by exploring every possible topic of interest.
A natural-born public speaker, I also appreciate the opportunity to discuss what I've learned with as many people as possible and get some new perspectives on each topic.
As long as I'm doing the work anyway (and enjoying it!), why not make someone else's life a little easier (or brighter) by sharing and commenting on my new discoveries?
