The world’s largest Reggae and Dancehall record label (Jamaican owned 🇯🇲). Originating from Kingston, Jamaica, VP Records was founded in Jamaica, Queens NYC in 1977. The company is known as a major contributor to the globalization of Jamaican & greater Caribbean culture.

VP is at the forefront of the reggae and dancehall worlds with thousands of albums, singles, and compilations (Reggae Gold, Soca Gold, Strictly The Best, and Riddim Driven), and more than 20 Grammy nominations to its credit.

The label's legacy includes artists like Sean Paul, Spice, Shaggy, Buju Banton, Busy Signal, Sizzla, Morgan Heritage, Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Lady Saw, Sanchez, Shabba Ranks, Barrington Levy, Gregory Isaacs, Dennis Brown and many others.
