This channel explores the darker and criminal aspects of the humanity and how these actions are *human actions*. Often, we divorce ourselves from criminals and murders, othering them, calling them "monsters". Yet, it's almost more disturbing when we consider how we're like them and they're like us...

People rarely, if ever, "rise to the occasion" and become a hero or "just snap" and kill people one day: they become who they are through their daily actions and thoughts and environment and biology, etc.

So, how can we rethink humanity given "evil" and "good" often lie just beneath the floorboards?

Who am I?

I'm an academic (master's level) who hates academia and turned their interest in researching why people behave in non-normative ways into a new project. I've been a rabid fan of horror and true crime for my entire life. So, it's a perfect fit.
