Here is some recommendations;
If you want to make remix's of already existing songs, i recommend ableton live 11 lite, audacity, and using sites like online sequencers for MIDI's. I do highly recommend crediting them for there hard work. Thats how I started my music carreer. :)
How did I make my video backround? I used the free music and videos app from Mcrosoft in Windows, and I started recording a video of a static image. Yes. That is how I did it without and paid video editors. Then just chopped it up for different music videos.
