Exactly 400 years ago the most important book of English literature came out: the collected works of Shakespeare, also known as "the Folio". What better way to celebrate this momentous anniversary than to re-read the bard's works (all of them!) one by one throughout 2023?

Join me on a journey from the streets of Verona to the castles of Denmark, from the woods of Greece to waters of the Nile, from merry England's villages to tropical islands across the seas. We'll read one play or poem a week, and explore its themes, language, theatrical context, and -- most importantly -- how Shakespeare's works still speak to us today.
