About Australian Building Codes Board

The Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) is a Council of Australian Government (COAG) standards writing body that is responsible for the National Construction Code (NCC), which comprises the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and the Plumbing Code of Australia (PCA). It is a joint initiative of all three levels of government in Australia. Our mission is to address issues of safety and health; amenity and accessibility, and sustainability in the design, construction and performance of buildings. It is also a regulatory reform vehicle for COAG.

This channel provides a collection of videos to assist in better understanding the NCC. Tutorials and explanatory videos have been presented here along side recordings of seminars and other events.
