Winds gusting to 86km/h and beyond and heavy rain will be causing more flooding. It is fully daylight - it's just very dark with the thick cloud cover. Temp is 11C so snow melt in mountains is adding to flooding. Video taken through double glazed window that was getting hammered with rain. Please forgive the darkness and rain on glass interfering with quality of video. It's the best I could do given the current conditions. Map is still wrong - this photo was taken in Courtenay BC. Flickr is working on the problem. Thanks so much everyone for your most generous comments and faves. All are much appreciated.
