Dispersion Effect Video

I do a quick video on how I make the dispersion, "falling apart" effect you've seen on some of my posts. No Effort Saturday, so it's a bit sloppy, but I hope I gave you an idea on how it's done.
I don't have Photoshop—I instead use a program called Affinity Photo, which is a cheaper alternative to Photoshop that's still quite solid and capable! It is currently the program I use for most of my photo editing needs, and while it does have a steeper learning curve than Lightroom, I am quite happy with the program and can recommend it to others.

You can download dispersion brushes from here: https://www.brusheezy.com/free/dispersionAffinity Photo can import Photoshop brushes, so don't worry about incompatibilities! I used the "20 Dispersion PS Brushes Abr. Vol.1" set, but you can also shop around and try other brushes if you prefer.
