This is my contribution to the halloween submissions! It is my first major flash animation, made as a university project.
I decided to give it a dark, mysterious forest feel, as opposed to the slasher horrors and ghost stories flooding the media at the moment. I based it partly on ideas of Slavic mythology and pagan folklore, where there's not so much ghosts and supernatural humans, as there is witches, demons, dangerous creatures, and of course living plants, that would much rather eat you first than try to scare you! I hope you enjoy it!
