- This game is a spiritual successor to Fluttershy's Night Out! The dialogue cutscenes were inspired by FNO.

- This game is three parts; one part visual novel, one part Undertale and one part platformer!

- Every song in RARITY is a remix of an already existing song!

- The banners in Skylight Night read "Equestrian City."

- The billboard of Rarity reads "Victory!" and "Rarity."

- This game went through two rewrites. Initially, a game titled "RARITY" was to be a literal sequel of Fluttershy's Night Out, playing in a similar RPG-style. The game was set to take place at the exact same time of the events of Fluttershy's Night Out, but from Rarity's perspective in Equestria. The second rewrite was essentially an entire game that was meta and humoring the stereotype of Scratch platformers, before suddenly evolving into a heavily polished platforming game. The Scratch Cat was to be the "tutorial" character before ultimately becoming the villain. This concept was borrowed in Powerpuff Girls: Scratch City Showdown, where the Scratch Cat is featured as the main villain.

- This game was the last attempt of @SweetieBelleDerelle to gain recognition! Of course, not everything can always go as planned!
