Wish You Were Here MAP part 10

Credit to @TrainerLeea for the MAP, which I was happy to enter! And credit to Pink Floyd for the song, especially Roger Waters, who wrote the lyrics. This line is one of my favorites, especially because of its poignancy, and the way it stands out- Wish You Were Here serves as a callout to the people Waters has lost in his lifetime, and this line "Did you exchange/ a walk on part in the war/ for a lead role in a cage?" refers to his father, who was killed in WWII. Roger's father had been a pacifist, and only joined the fight under the threat of imprisonment. Though I have never lost a parent, I have experienced loss, as I think we all have. So, this line has always stood out.
