Um, so, whenever I can't figure out what species to make a certain character, I just go to Wikipedia and use the special:random page to generate random pages until I get an animal. So that means you were THIS CLOSE to getting a moth because dangnabbit there are so many moths-
You got a phant instead.

So, the creature is an elephant. You can decide specifically which type of elephant, I kept it purposefully vague.
The ears are clouds, and the trunk spawns clouds when the elephant breathes out. Its tusks are made of electricity, which cause lightning storms, and its steps thunder throughout the skies. It's markings are supposed to mimic those of birds in flight, but, I'm crunched for space, so you get v birds unless you wanna be fanceh. And, of course, the sun and the moon are attached to this elephant! The moon changes phase, and eclipses happen when the elephant's just trynna scratch his head with his tail. Funny how myths do.
Is this all right? I know you said you didn't care about the species, but I went elephant. Is this sky-themed enough? Please tell me-
