To be a veterinarian you need to go to veterinary school for 4 years, have your bachelor of science of bachelor of arts degree. They work in hospitals, private clinics, and sometimes at the zoo to work on horses or other animals etc. At veterinary school you learn how to operate on animals, diagnose their health problems, and also operate on medical equipment.
