@-RadioactiveWaste- for the vector earth picture,
CAPCOM for a music track, And SEGA lots of ideas and assets. (After all, this game is heavily inspired off of Sonic the Hedgehog.)

The game's development history:
The game was released in a developmental state with me going back and occasionally adding some new features or changes. It was shared on the 6th of Feburary 2015. This build I refer to as the "original" build. It was somewhat different to the current version.

Of what I can remember, the game started with a menu similar to this one, albeit more fleshed out and with an "options" button present. Selecting this button would bring you to an options menu.
From there one of the things you could do was change Alzter's skin.
You could make Alzter either look like the normal Ultimate Speedrun Alzter, or the model from Flaming Alzter, complete with all the new animations synced to that model as well. There may have also been a sound slider there as well.

When you selected play, it dropped you into a barren level with the background from Sonic Lost World's Windy Hill Zone that I got from Google Images, and badly vectorized grass from Emerald Hill Zone that I'm pretty sure VectorMagic did.

The Level would start with a Sonic 3 title card. I personally cannot recall what was on the title card. After that you would assume control over Alzter.

His walk cycle was actually traced off of Sonic's Walk from the prototype version Sonic 2HD, which I found as a google images GIF file. I added in-between frames to smooth out the animation. I copied all the walk frames as bitmap files for reasons I do not remember, but I ended up finding the bitmap walk and tracing it for use in the current build. It goes unused, but you can find it in the project files.

Other moves Alzter could use were a spindash with vector traced spindash dust from Sonic 2, and a Boost type move but with a fire trail (which I got as a google image).

I kept coming back to the old build to add or change things in it, but one day I accidentally encountered a fatal glitch that destroyed the original build, and due to my lack of knowledge on how to recover it, I unwillingly destroyed it for all time.

The glitch was where the project would save whilst it was loading. This meant it overwrote the entire project code with nothing, and I did not know that going to File > Revert could have potentially fixed it. Instead I reloaded the page, hoping that would fix it, but instead that meant I would never see the original version ever again. This happened around Friday, February 13th, 2015, 8:30 AM.

From then, I wanted to redo the game. I got Liam and Callum, and attempted to rebuild the game with a new story. Alzter lived on "Flameria", and Callzter lived on "Icearia".

Everything was peaceful until an evil force in the shape of Alzter attacked, destroying both planets with a black hole. Alzter and Callzter escaped, both landed on earth, met, and went on a high speed adventure, putting an end to the evil life-form disguised as Alzter.

The story never ended however, as the project was abandoned due to me basically just getting bored of it.
