On the 24th February 2022, a war-scale disaster struck Eurasia. President Vladimir Putin commenced a 'special military operation': a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in an attempt to demilitarize it's land & overthrow President Volodymyr Zelensky, leaving millions of innocent citizens homeless in the violent conflict; some fleeing for their lives with their family & whatever they can bring with them, others staying behind to fight back against the oncoming tanks & air-strikes, risking the destructions of what's left of the cities by planting landmines in their way. This didn't just violate a peace deal with the two neighbouring countries, but violated peace deals with the entirety of Europe & pushed the entire continent's secure future into jeopardy.
Did the world just stand back & watch? Certainly not! We quickly joined forces & united with Ukraine to rescue those in need & present them new places to live, supplying those left behind ways to defend against the attack, while depriving the Russian Federation of any potential counters. But there's still a whole lot to be done before we & Ukraine reign victorious in this war for peace & democracy.
Together we must unite in order to bring support for Ukraine during this war for solidarity & peace all over the world, by making our voices heard on the world wide web... such as on a remix of this project. So, if you want to show your thoughts & prayers for Ukraine, and all the fighters of this dizzying feud, why not show it by remixing & signing your username?
Please note that this project isn't meant to offend the general population of Russia, as it's not their fault that their country's government is committing to this conquering. In fact, their own protests against the tyrannical scheme may be some of the most important, showing their leader that his attempts to harm neighbouring countries are also hurting the population of his.
I've been intending to make addressing the recent malaise & turmoil within Eurasia for quite a while since I saw the beginning air-strikes all over the news, and to be honest, one of the biggest reasons why was me worrying that it could sprout into a full-scale World War III! And yes, Paul has dyed his hair to the colours of Ukraine's flag, as part of a local charity's efforts to set Ukraine on the path for victory.
(an unrelated note, but i based this project off of an older one that had been discarded in my trash around the start of 2021, hence why the project ID seems so low for it's release date)
Credit to all, except for the organizers & supporters of Russia's invasion, which is the reason why this project exists in the first place. Extra special credits to the Ukrainian citizens resisting the attempts made to crumble their hearty spirits, and everyone else across the globe trying their hardest to reinforce their counter-attack, and power the return of peace in a troubling time where it's needed most.
