4 Years (My Scratch Story)

That's sort of my mindset towards my position on scratch at this moment. Today marks four full years on this account, and oh boy I did not expect to amass over 24 thousand supporters...
Yet, here we are now, and all I can really say is thank you. It's been a great 4 years on this account, and I think I should summarize my journey on scratch for you guys as a little token of my gratitude...
In actuality, my scratch journey began almost 7 years ago in my grade 5 coding class, I had some cs account and never really thought much of the platform as a whole. But in late 2016 I revisited the site and started feeling inclined to maybe create my own account. I started this with the account @potatopeeler7 back in March of 2017. I wasn't very good, or known at all. Bringing in about 2 followers before I was inspired by the animation community of 2017 to create my own animation account... So on July 14th 2017 at 11:36am, the exact moment 4 years prior to this project being released, I created this account. As a 13 year old, I was fitting in to the 2017 animation community, where I made some early friends like @-BoyMcBoy- @MrRaisin and many more. By the time 3.0 released in January of 2019, I had gained a following of 700 or so. But 3.0 was a big change for me, and with highschool looming and other stresses, it was time for a break...
Fast forward to grade 10 career studies class, where me and my friend @sketchtarts were sitting in the library, I revisited scratch to show him some old projects. Just seeing that got me interested again, I was likely too old to go anywhere on scratch, but I wanted to see how some of my old friends were doing. So I rejoined, not too much happened, reconnected with old friends and then all of a sudden, as the pandemic hit, I began gaining traction, 1000 followers on april 1st and just over 2 months later, I reached 10000. It's been crazy. Thank you all for the support, it means the world. And shoutout to all of my good friends, I can't fit you all here because I'm running out of room.
I know my time on scratch has naturally faded due to me just growing up and getting busy with life, but I'll always remember the time I had here and will have for the next little while (I'm not leaving yet lol). But for now, all I can say is thank you, and have a great day everyone!
