I love all your videos!!! Need to watch the potty training video because she is starting to let me know! I started introducing upper case letters first when she was around 13 months and she is 18 months and knows 17 confidently! She can identify them but still learning to show her sounds. The other day in the car I heard her making the “h” sound and sounding out the word house! She was going, “h-h-h-ouse” I was so proud because I didn’t prompt her to say that! We’ve taught her sign language as well and did her first sign at 9 months. I feel that her being exposed to different ways to communicate is why it’s easy for her to learn new things! My mom sometimes speaks to her in Spanish, so we are trying to fill that spongy-brain of hers!!!

We had great success with magnetic letters with our 2 year old (26 months). We started with letter sounds and he picked up the letter names from songs and videos on his own. We live in Japan so we got him a set of magnetic Japanese characters too and after he had mastered A-Z he became obsessed with Japanese sounds and now knows all 46 of them too. He loves looking for alphabets and hiragana when we go out. I love your idea about the wristbands! We're trying to follow his interests rather than drilling him, but he LOVES words and numbers. Your tips are so valuable thank you!
