When I lost both senses of smell and tase I was so devastated that I could enjoy no meal, no perfume, nothing at all. I came here to the comment section a few days ago to alleviate my pain somehow. I waited...and I waited.... and I waited a bit more.... until today when I got my precious senses back. I am happier than ever! Be patient and you will get yours back too!!

I got my sense of smell back after 2 weeks!! Praise God! it was so depressing. I much would of rathered to lose my taste than my smell honestly. Praying for all those going through this and that we all heal..

Life is so depressing without taste. I’ve been crying bc I can’t freakin taste anything while my whole family is always screaming about how amazing the food is!

Who knew a tiny virus would make people value such small entities of life. God please restore it for everyone.

Thank you Dr. Christy. I want to contribute my speedy recovery to you. I'm on Day 11 since my symptoms, and 6 days since I first lost my smell. I want to say at least 50% of it is back. Day by day it gets better. I can smell hints of my Cerave lotion today! and that was my benchmark to full recovery. Cerave is a "scentless" lotion, but there's a certain smell to it, so I knew when I could smell that, then I am close to being recovered.

I’m on day 6 of no smell/taste. I tested positive for covid so that’s great. It’s weird because I can taste the difference between salty, sour, and sweet foods but not the actual flavor
