The Meteorite travelled billions and billions of miles just to get low balled by Rick.

“it’s rarely a meteorite. I don’t want to get your hopes up...” Dude waits to tell him it’s catalogued at UCLA.

Rick: "I don't deal in meteorites" Also Rick: has a meteorite expert on speed dial

All Rick's buddies live like 2 mins from the store. And whenever he said he'll call them, he literally just shouts their names outside the store.

"Lowest I'll take is two grand for it" "Two grand? Nah I can't go that low"

If I was the finder of a meteorite I don't think I could part with it for $2100. I feel like that's something you keep forever.
  • @nickSebastiao
Seller: but it’s older than our planet! Rick: yeah, but I will have to frame it which will cost me a fortune
  • @stoneyswolf
10 minutes later Chumlee paid 10k for a sling shot and tried shooting the rock back into space.
  • @tinyhunter9540
    Expert:It’s worth $10,000. Rick: I’ll give you $100.

Why would anyone sell expensive items at a pawn shop when you could literally sell it online and make 40% more
  • @gamefreak2050
just the concept of that rock being older than the planet is mind boggling

Love the fact that the ucla have the other half, he's definitely a meteorite hunter, which means that the ucla also have a chunk worth 2100 dollars, if I were Rick I'd consider asking the ucla if they want to purchase the other half or he could benefact it and write of the tax, the USA has a great system to keep artifacts within the USA...
