I've done it again. I resisted your spirit and I fell into that temptation you led me away from. I let my flesh take over me and I have fallen into the same sin again. The one I promised you I wouldn't do again. I'm sorry. I truly am. Can you still forgive me?
We all have been there.
That space where we fall into sin and we want to be any other place but the presence of God.
We have all been there. That space where we have fasted and prayed but still end up falling into sin. We have all been there. That space where we feel so dirty because of the guilt. That space where it is much easier to turn away from God than go to him.
Yes, you have messed up! Yes, you have glorified sin rather than God. Yes, for that one time you broke the father's trust. Yes, you rebelled against God. Yes, you turned away from God.
But does the father still love you? Yes.
