But the bZ4X isn't arriving alone, as its twin under the skin, the Subaru Solterra, is entering local showrooms at the same time, with very little separating the two – aside from their pricing and features. Point being, the competition is stiff from the get-go and that's before you take into account other rivals, including the Kia EV6.
In this expert review, CarsGuide Contributing Journalist Andrew Chesterton puts the new bZ4X to the test to find out if it has what it takes to not only be better value than the Solterra, but also a genuine alternative to the RAV4 Hybrid. Yes, it's got its work cut out for it.

Efficiency is still the big negative in the BZ4X, so reviewers say you only achieve 50% of quoted range.

No cooled seats for $70k? 😳
-
It is bait to get buyers into the showroom, then flog an ICE or hybrid vehicle.
-
Despite what the media says, thus is a good EV, 10 years warranty on batteries and given small battery pack a good range. 2nd bestselling car in Norway, nr 1 EV market in Europe....

1) An "electric-actuator", without "electric-motor" (aiming beam to target) will enlarge laser-kill-range. (Because: eliminates delay of "coil" and of "transmision") 2) For Perfect Precision-Steering/Robotics 3) Looking for 20 k$ investor/customer for "prototype-actuator" (better than I did in 2015) 2 Designs for (fast) CAR. The 2nd is either for supirior-steering Or for superior-mecanical-braking (All cheaper than existing) Following is the 1st one: 1) Unique Valve for shortest Braking-Distance and supirior stability while braking. (Important for fast Passenger Cars) 1.1) My Invention: I have a (complete design of) low-cost Valve that will replace the 2 on-off solenoid valves (for each wheel, in the ABS) 1.2) Will create Brakage: 98% of ideal decelaration on dry-asphalt with paddels (wet-asphalt): 2) Thus create the best ABS in the world, Reduce ABS size (more reliable than solenoid valve). 3) Note: Today ABS use two On-Off Solenoid-Valves because Proportional-Solenoid is not good: Low-Reliability, and at mid position: the flow will be too high: thus, compell bigger-pump. 4) Linkedin 67953574 : (2 files on the Valve) 5) Dear OEM : I have 3 more files on the Valve...
