BTS Being Scared Of Dance Leader j-hope | Strict Hobi

In 2020, BTS achieved their first No.1 on the Billboard chart. The boys were understandably thrilled and excited. Dance Leader j-hope was so happy that he dropped his phone while showing off the chart.
But just because Dance Leader j-hope was in a great mood doesn't mean BTS can now relax. BANGTANTV recently shared the moment after BTS found out about their Billboard achievement. This certainly calls for a celebration!
But even that incredible news couldn't save BTS from Dance Leader j-hope. While talking about grabbing a drink, Jin, Jimin, and Jungkook kinda knew what was coming next. Taehyung seemingly read Hobi's face and decided to be on his good side. During their live stream, Namjoon also tried to be on Dance Leader j-hope's good side.
Hobi is a professional and takes his job very seriously. So he gets pretty strict when monitoring a performance. Hobi is someone who cannot hide his emotions and shows what he truly feels through his expressions. You can easily see when he was dissatisfied with what he was monitoring.
Hobi is very patient when teaching his members the choreography. And when they get it right, he shows how satisfied he is. But when they get it wrong, well...
Photos of Hobi in the military were circulating online. Corporal Jung Hoseok was at the graduation ceremony for his fourth batch of trainees at the Recruit Training Center. As mentioned earlier, Hobi takes his job very seriously, so he puts his Sunshine status aside to take on the Corporal role.
But remember that Hobi is the king of duality. So he was Corporal Jung Hoseok in one shot and then Cadet Hobi in the next shot. Yes, Hobi has not lost his Sunshine persona despite being in a totally different environment. In fact, he brought the same happiness to the trainees just like what he did to BTS and ARMY.
But don't let Hobi's bright smile make you think everything will be fine and dandy. If he's still the same person he was before enlistment, then he's still the same strict Dance Leader j-hope that BTS is scared of.
Namjoon, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook mentioned Hobi in their last live stream together before enlisting. And then Taehyung said something interesting. Jungkook agreed without any hesitation. So does this mean Hobi's strictness is on another level while he's in the military??
Having Hobi as a trainer is like a double-edged sword. On one hand, you know you'll get the best training considering Hobi's skill, professionalism, and work ethic. But on the other hand, you'll be witnessing BTS's fear firsthand.
I can't help but think about Hobi's surprise visit to &TEAM when talking about the trainees in the military. I can almost imagine the trainees having the same reaction with &TEAM upon seeing Hobi. They were excited and petrified at the same time. Excited to be in the presence of THE Jung Hoseok. And petrified to be judged by him.
You see, Hobi has a sharp memory. He's the fastest one to memorize BTS's complex choreography. And his sharp memory also enables him to remember mistakes. And that is why BTS and trainees are afraid to make a mistake or else...
But Hobi would not be the successful Dancer leader, mentor, and trainer that he is now if all he offered was fear to his peers. Hobi may be strict, but he's also realistic. Remember when he was disappointed while monitoring BTS's dance practice? Instead of getting mad about it, he believed that all they needed was more practice.
Remember when Hobi looked super serious while monitoring &TEAM? He gave them a huge smile after their performance. Hobi knows when to correct a mistake and appreciate an effort. But if he sees someone not doing their best, then...

Because of strict dance leader and his agreeing teammates, BTS ‘s performances were explosive. Thank you Hobi for your leadership with understanding to your teammates. Some people are born to be leaders and Hobi is definitely #1 in that group😃. Colt 🙏 as always.

Hi Colt! 👋🏼 Girl that last clip with Hobi turning into Linda Blair from the Excorcist....YIKES!! 🫣. I'm sure Hobi picked up military routines quick and was chosen to whip those young men into shape in record time. Their line formations must be impeccable. 😅

The thing about Hobi's Dance Leader mode is that he is strict but never mean or cruel. He genuinely sees the unlocked potential in people and want them to reach their best for their sake.

our Colt is getting better and better with those editing skillz 💜 as you pointed out Hoseok is strict but fair. he knows what the members are capable of and demands not too much. but I often think how frustrating it must be when you practice 4 hours to get a part of a choreo right and then Hoseok shows up and gets it in 10 mins 😂 so many ppl have made the same experience. 😅 I think you just have to accept it and be happy that you can learn from such an excellent teacher

This was too funny!! J Hope is a great dance leader. Judging by the footage I've seen lately of him taking pictures with the military bands and honor guards, looks like they are as in awe of him as his members are. So looking forward to his return in October (and Jin in a couple of days). I did read where all the members took vacation time to see Jin when he comes back from the military this week. Hopefully there will be some footage of that.
