Kira sure is a kind, caring, gentle woman.

I love how Chaz and Kira both instantly treat the other’s child as their own. It’s so sweet.

Not gonna lie, the addition of Kira and Kimi into Chuckie's life was probably the biggest highlight of the show in my opinion

I never realized how progressive this show was. To not only show step parents but also a mixed race family.

I’m 100% convinced Kira adopted Chuckie and Chas adopted Kimi, it wasn’t just a stepfather/stepmom and step sibling situation.

I remember people not liking Kira and Kimi, but as I kid I loved them, first of all they were Asian and it was a delight to see characters like me, but second of all, Chuckie getting a mom and Chaz no longer lonely and was happy was something that bought me so much joy as a kid. I was just so happy when Chuckie screamed NO!!! at the wedding and told Kimi that he guesses he's "Gots 2 mommies watching over him now" gets me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. And the whole scene of her giving back his bear. Uuuh I cried so hard as a kid and still cry over it.

Kira was a great addition to the adults. She's so kind and loving, and you instantly liked her the moment she first appeared on screen. I really don't think the reboot was necessary, because it feels so lifeless and just tries to preserve these characters we already know and love.

She has such a soothing voice…. ☺️

Chas and Kira happily adopt each other’s son and daughter as their adoptive children while Melinda Finster, Chuckie’s biological mother watches and guides Chuckie from Heaven and Hiro Watanabe, Kimi’s biological father stays in contact with Kimi and occasionally visits her.
