I have highly modified my Scrambler XP1000 S for insane hill climbing and it's 58" wide , 70" wheelbase , related battery to the bottom frame and 3/16 steel skid plate to lower CG and I out do most SXS.

The Sportsman seems like a great option for peeps for actual trail riding. The extra cargo and winch can be very useful especially riding up in northern AZ!

Should do this series on can am renegade xxc and xmr and the outlanders, very good video!

Picked up my sportsman xp1000s today. Luv it. It's a 23 discounted to 14999. No regrets at all.

Thanks for the comparision video, you made some great points. I ran into a guy yesterday on the trails with the sportsman S and he loved it. Ive seen a handful of both machines here in the northeast. I personally like the scrambler more. I also have the scrambler 850 🙂 and would love to try the S model. I saw the 2024 scrambler S yesterday in person and the new color is wicked.

I went with the Sportsman 1000s. It just looks better imo. I got a good deal @14k otd. I like the running lights, bumpers, LED lights, winch and hitch. I do all kinds of riding. So far there has been nothing that has come close to stopping the machine. I love it!! Nice vid! Definitely covers the important differences.

Have you and your brother drag raced? Is the HFM exhaust and tune that much better and worth the money. Did he put a clutch kit in his? Great video! Thank you!

I have a 2021 Sportsman 1000 S with the walker evans and a 2022 Sportsman 1000 S without, it’s real tough to tell the difference.between the two. Also the 2022 has multi select power steering and the 2021 does not. Not sure if the scrambler has that or not. Great Vid!

Good one! Around here you don´t get WE on Scrambler, so same susp. on both. Was going to get the Scrambler but took the Sportsman, just looks more solid. :) Do not use it for "racing" that i use quads for so perfect atv for fun and some work.
  • @Fallouttec
Going to be getting the Sportsman come soon, needed a good rig for doing utility work around the property while also having a bit of fun out on the trails and just in general. Had an older 2005 800 when they first came out and that thing lasted well beyond any reason it needed to, only had to get rid of it when the chassis finally split and she was cruising well past 12 years by then. No shame to her and looking forward to see how things have changed since then.

I don't have one but I called today to see if my local Polaris dealer can get me one. A Scrambler XP 1000 S that is. I currently own a 2018 Can-am Outlander 850 and I love it. I have always wanted the Can-am Renegade 1000. But now I'm definitely going to get the Polaris Scrambler XP 1000 S. The Polaris is the better machine by far, IMO...!

Scrambler is the only “utility” quad I’d buy right now. Thing handles like a dream
  • @CombatingRowe
can you put the walker shocks on the sportsman? does the sportsman handle jumps well?
  • @FlyinPurr
Best set of shocks for the sportsman is the Elka Stage 3 - 5. Elka Stage 5 would match the stock suspension on the scrambler in terms of Hi/Lo compression adjustment and rebound
  • @jeffvry4187
Does your brother’s HMF exhaust have the quiet mufflers in or no mufflers?
  • @andrewengland971
    I currently have a 2020 raptor 700r. I’m considering selling it and buy a scrambler s 1000. I love sport quads but I would love 4wd.
  • @billwill7383
Apples🍎 to apples 🍏 I'd take either one happily.
