This is our review of the Kurgo Wander Hammock and Car Door Guards. In no way are we affiliated or sponsored by them - this is just our honest opinion of them.

We love our pets more than anything, but pet fur can be a real pain inside of a vehicle! It's almost impossible to vacuum it off of vehicle carpet 100%.

We just got a new lease vehicle (Chevy Silverado), so we had to move the stuff we use to protect the vehicle from the pets from the old truck to the new truck; so we decided to do a video explaining what we use. We use the Kurgo Wander Hammock and Kurgo door guards. The door guards keep our dogs scratch-free from their nails, and the hammock helps contain the dog fur, as well as increases the amount of room for the dogs to lay. We also bought a black, queen-sized flat sheet, as well as a black, twin-sized fitted sheet for the truck. These items will keep our truck relatively dog fur-free. Watch to see how we use the sheets to cover the back bench sheet, as well as cover all of the carpet in the truck!

  • The sheet is great in general. That’s probably the easiest way to keep your car cleaned. Take it out and wash every two weeks and bam, you have a pristine car. Thanks for the idea. I’m getting a hammock for my two little babies. I refuse to let them tear up my new ride. Lol.

What about one 145lb dog? Will the hammock be strong enough? Are the stitches dbl or triple stitched?

There is a little brush that I use it pulls all the dog hair up out of the carpet

My hammock started coming apart at the seams, it frayed so couldn't sew it back together. I did use duck tape on the underside but I was disappointed that it started to fall apart before it was a month old :( I remove my dogs hair by using anti static spray for your clothes, it releases the hair and then I use a pumice stone and rubber gloves and it comes off super easy. The rubber gloves work wonders!

Those door covers don’t work well unless your dog doesn’t jump upon the window sill. Their just constantly falling out. Waste of money. However the kurgo hammock is escellent. Love the sheet idea... but I didn’t see how you got it nice and straight / tight.

Weathertech and Husky make floor liners that cover every inch of carpeting and would look alot better than that sheet.

Try double stick tape on the inside of the plastic door tabs! duh!

Bed tree makes a product that you install. Its a replacement for your carpet. I have two German shepherds. Makes life easy. The kurug door covers are worthless. They kept coming off.

OCD much? Good lord! You should get a a towel to cover the dog hammock that’s covering the sheeting that’s covering the carpet.
