Definitely gives Daechwita vibes... when he was introducing the video during the premiere he mentioned that Daechwita, Haegeum, and the upcoming video for Amygdala are meant to be watched in a row.

This song and mv has me in a choke hold. Not only did Yoongi's acting get SO MUCH better (and he was literally already a pro) but the entire cinematography supports it. The song is a banger, no question there. But the mv is so fascinating. In Daechwita he killed the blonde Agust D because he was too currupt with anger and resentment. Agust D didn't stand for that anymore. But in Haegeum the scar Agust D ended up just as corrupt as blonde Agust D was. It's interesting that the new Agust D basically started the mv by killing a person and ending it with the memory of that. Agust D is a trilogy because Yoongi finally managed to unite himself with Suga and Agust D. They're no longer separate because he learned to embrace all his feelings. But I'm still confused about the new Agust D. I suppose he's still violent because that's what Agust D is. But instead of only killing scar Agust D (like it happened with blonde Agust D) he ALSO burned the money scar Agust D had. My interpretation, which may not be correct. 🤣. Finally, applause to SUGA for yet another unique work of art.👏❤

his acting is so HOT 😭 the way he views the world and talks so honestly is just the best part of yoongi's songs. the way it's call backs to daechwita in the mv even the "off with their heads" in the end 😄 ugh he is KING

Like your reactions! FYI, the dark-haired Agust D with the scar is not a police officer. I thought so at first, too. He is the Agust D who killed the blonde King in Daechwita. He's a crime boss and in with the cops. The cops are on the take, which is why they are saluting him as he walks out of the station on his phone. The guy on the ground making a call during the raid is calling to let him know he is being robbed. Watch the figures in black who are with the dark-haired August D they move they heads just like the prisoners in Daechwita. The new character has no scar, so he is not August D. it's Min Yoongi.
