Red Dead Online is FINALLY Over.. (2018-2023)

Rockstar doesn't know what they have. This game is a masterpiece. It deserves more respect. People don't know what is good. I would choose this game any day over GTA. If we're not getting a new game, at least give us a remastered version of RDR 1 and an upgraded RDR2.

They could’ve added so much content. Why couldn’t we get bank robberies with a group of friend we’re in the old west… certain roles weren’t even really worth the grind. They gave us absolutely nothing, what did the RDR2 community do? We stuck through this game and played with friends for so long hoping they would put content out and they only cared about gta. RDR2 had the highest player count ever recently these past two month and they still don’t care. It’s really crazy!

Honestly if they re-released limited stock clothing, outlaw passes and sharp shooters club and maybe even a new role then they'd be set. 90% of that is already developed. Theres even parts of the map that are fully developed with npcs but you're not able to go to those locations without glitches like the prison, Guarma and casino boat.

Only thing keeping RDR2 alive is the RedM community, at least they care more about the game then the devs.

Ps5 version we need

I’d pay good money for a wrangler/rustler role where you herd/steal livestock from farms and take to slaughter. It could be pve with law or rustlers trying to stop you or steal your herd. The camp dog could also be utilized in helping keep the herd in check for people playing by themselves. Also let us hunt with the camp dogs and the dogs in story mode. It be cool to gain relationships with the dogs and go on hunting trips with them close to the camp locations or with any of the other dogs close to there homes and towns. If Arther could go hunting with cane and and gain a relationship then his disappearance may become the saddest part of the game. Franklin could take chop’s anywhere on the map in GTAv and I don’t feel like it’s fair to red dead that non of the dogs can be companions.

Red dead was over so long ago. giving people store discounts and rotating clothes in the store was never real updates. This game died a year ago

Wish they’d sell the rights to another company, wasted potential is an understatement.

Man I finally uninstalled red dead 2 for the final time the other day, I’m so done with the bullshit called red dead online. There’s so much potential but rockstar has seemingly gave up. The game officially “died” a few months back but I still held out for something that clearly was too far past it’s prime if it even had its prime ever in the first place, it’s sad to see something with so much potential to go up in smoke and die, the game had so much going for it in the beginning but it wasn’t really utilized, just a cash grab with all the extra shit that’s been added in (or lack thereof). Mainly what killed the game I feel is the lack of content from the start, the overwhelming amount of unfairness in the community as well, and not to mention the ridiculous amount of beating around the bush that rockstar has been doing with the game from the beginning, lackluster updates as well as a general disinterest in supporting the game. So now in closing, the game died due to both the community AND rockstar sending a blind eye to the community and the game itself. This is the end of my rant, thanks for stopping by

altho i do not agree that the game is dead. its very much alive and full of people. i would like to see a few DLC. is a shame that Rockstar won't do it.

This is the greatest game I’ve ever played and rockstar dosent really care that much for it there was so much potential for Story DLCs and online ones too. I would pay whatever just to get that experience of first playing red dead 2 again

They need to add the heist and that n the game will be sick but I do enjoy red dead online it just a funny game to play love the pvp

It's only over when all the players give up on it. Consumers have more power than they realize, keep pushing Rockstar and don't let up. They may yet come back, especially if they see a resurgence among players.

I'm glad I haven't played RDO and avoided much frustration and disappointment.
