"One of cults main thing is that they strip you from your identity" - The SpongeBob Guy, formerly know as Alex Bale

The only other restaurant that made their customers wear hats and stuff was Plankton when he started selling Krabby Patties, and HIS goal was to LITERALLY mind control and enslave his customers. May just be a coincidence, but it’s still funny Edit: PLEASE, read the whole text carefully before you comment…

i never expected to hear "heavens gate" and "goofy goober" in the same sentence what a time to be alive

Extra detail I just noticed rewatching the theory again: the two people who casually “interfere” with Spongebob fully joining the Goofy Goober Cult are Movie Neptune (who quite literally “interrupts” in the perfect moment) and Mindy, Movie Neptune's teenage daughter. Not only does it ally with the Neptune Theory of Movie Neptune and Mindy being hired actors for the movie, BUT it also aligns with the Television Theory: the writers are trying to pull Spongebob away from the cult because... there's no show without Spongebob.
  • I swear this man can make a full blown college essay of why Wyoming does/doesn’t exist

I fell asleep with this playing in the background and you can imagine how crazy that damn dream was💀

The live chat whent from "im a goofy goober yeah" to "WHAT" its like a cult member being broken out of the in docration
  • The fact that he can say Goofy Goober so freaking seriously is just unbelieavable.
  • @ShortHax
“Sponsored by Happy Meat Farms” Does anyone want to tell him?

More evidence that the ice cream has drugs in them is in Nicktoons Unite, Spongebob says this "Wake up, Spongebob , you must of had to much ice cream last night!"
  • @gibusspy5544
Not gonna lie, even though all this is just a part of one big ARG, the theories are actually pretty solid.

The fact that he’s able to create these SpongeBob theories AND show off his film-making skills is just amazing. It makes me really happy to see

The shot composition at the ending scene was really neat, allow me to analyze for a moment: 1. in my interpretation, putting individuals at different heights creates a sense of dominance and superiority, the monster is quite literally a level above alex here - whereas before, alex was always the one who had to come down to its level - which cinematically demonstrates the shift in control here (as seen in the monster eating the cat despite it not being offered, it just took it instead of being given the meat). what was once a symbiosis has turned into a parasitic relationship. 2. Alex is forced to look UP to the creature - whereas before they saw eye to eye (literally) - which is also metaphorical as he is looking up to this monster for guidance and spongebob theories. And at the same time, this creature is looking down at alex, seeing him as a lowly pawn and a means to get his meat. (side theory/analysis: i think this creature is also a metaphor for us as an audience, a presence that is taking over his life, demanding to be ‘fed’ (content) and our growing insatiable hunger for more theories are taking over his life (since i’m sure crafting these theories takes a LOT of time). oh and the bottles it gives alex? perhaps a parallel to commenters and other people suggesting ideas for him to look into.) 3. Alex appears to be in a basement, which isn’t just to add to the creepy atmosphere! Generally speaking, one can’t usually leave or escape a house from a basement, you usually have to go up to the main floor to do so… but the creature is blocking off his exit, he’s literally trapped by this monster just like how he’s trapped making these spongebob videos. 4. I just wanted to point out that the obvious yellow light (in addition to the yellow clothes and other objects in later videos) clearly is meant to represent how spongebob is taking over his life. BUT what i also noticed is that the doorframe and the yellow make a YELLOW RECTANGLE, y’know LIKE SPONGEBOB! AND ITS LITERALLY LOOMING OVER ALEX LIKE SIME SORT OF OMNIPRESENCE!!! 5. oh yeah also alex is slowing being engulfed by darkness, especially when the monster is around… need i say more? Alex, my man, my dude, the level of detail and thought you put into the shots of these snippets of short films in these videos are astounding, and picking them apart is a lot of fun! great work!!!!

Can't remember if this was mentioned in this video but the aliens from Atlantis have a thing for ice cream. Like the weapons shoot ice cream, and they can turn things into exclusively ice cream. So maybe those are the aliens they worship. I just thought it fits with the theory.

“What other restaurant has not just employees, but customers that always dress up in a specific way?” *Me, wearing my Burger King crown*
  • @C.D.B.E.E.
The fact that this video is a joke/only made to boost a ARG Its a surprisingly great theory, i could probably accept it as canon
  • Imagine your in a forest at night and you hear a few people quietly chanting while each word is slightly stretched out "I'm a goofy goober yeah, (slightly demented) you're a goofy goober yeah! (Getting closer to you) we're all goofy goobers yeah"
