More is NOT better. Often it's the peeling away, decluttering our life that allows us to simplify our life and pursue more intentional living. Peeling away these "normal" things revealed more joy, contentment, and peace. It also helped me to feel less overwhelmed as a mom.

I started watching your videos today while cleaning, l ended up deactivating my Tik Tok, Instagram, & Facebook. I feel like I spend so much time on social media and I end up not feeling good about myself.
  • I’m 23 and absolutely everything you listed here is so helpful to hear. I’m at a point where it really feels like so many things are in chaos. I overwhelm myself with a billion thoughts all day long. I just want things to simplify.
  • Not sure how old you are but what you are sharing is very wise. I was married at 19 and had my first baby at 20 and had a total of 4 by the time I was 28. We lived a very simple life with no TV, internet or smart phones from the very beginning of our marriage, very simple sweet times😊. When My husband and I turned 30 is when we got internet for the first time and we just got out first smart phones at 32 about 8 months ago. The reasoning why is my husband started his own construction business and he works from out of our home. I will say since bringing these technologies into our home it has only brought busyness and an uneasy feeling. I miss the simpler times, granted my children are getting older as well which brings more busyness then when they were littler. Finding balance in life is a struggle at times but nothing is ever born without travailing so it takes making these mistakes in life to want better for ourselves and the next generation. Wonderful video! Thank you.

I'd be interested to hear more about your non-toxic simplified skincare/body care routine and products.
  • I’ve also stopped keeping up with news. I’ve done this for probably 10 years and while I’m not the person you go to talk through the breaking news that happened last night, I am now the more calm and compassionate person that can be there for you when you need me. Ingesting the news was causing me so much anguish that one day I stopped and thought about how life was when I was growing up (pre social media) and then thought about about times hundreds of years ago. Most news doesn’t need an instant analysis. Now I’m also considering eliminating social media because the people who need all my “instant” news are already on my call list.
  • Thank you so much for making these videos. I've watched one every morning this week. You have helped me shed the guilt of clutter, and I've got 11 (11!! 😅) bags of giveaway in my car, ready to go to the thrift shop. I'm 6 months pregnant (yay! My first babe.) and releasing all of this unnecessary clutter is already calming my nervous system. THANK YOU, Jess 🙏🏻🩷 Sending love from Los Angeles.
  • Thank you for this glorious series of affirming new consciousness shifts! The ”choices” you mention are so uplifting to my spirit. This shift is so helpful for me—at almost 78, I’m finally letting go of so many of these old bad habits and my persistent tendency to equate productivity with self-worth. More joy! More peace! More play,
  • I have just found your channel and I must say - THANK YOU! I am loving your advice, it really resonates with me. I'm an autistic mama of 3 (9, 4 and 1) and I'm into minimalism, natural health and trying to simplify our lives so that I'm not in a constant state of overwhelm and burnout!
  • This is really good information. I’m 76, and I learned new ways to think.

I feel seen when you talk about saying that my children are blessing yet my everyday words mismatch that! I had a 'surprise' twin babies 2 years ago..while my oldest is in college and my second a teenager. I know my babies are a blessing yet I complained about how tired and how overwhelmed I was every single day! 😢😢 thank you for the reminder ❤
  • @tamiurquizo746

  • I just finished and actually took a screenshot of your time stamps. Thanks for doing that. You have a gift for YouTube with your delivery and content. I saw you only started a couple of years ago and I think you will really grow this channel if that's what you're looking to do. This topic will resonate with ,many people and all ages😊 your family is beautiful and it's such a blessing you've realized these things early on. I sure wish I'd have seen this when mine were little. It would've helped tremendously. They're now 18&22😅. I hope you'll continue to post. ❤ Lisa
