This concept of survivor’s guilt shouldn’t be overlooked. I love how this show repeatedly shows the reoccurring concept of this guilt that tanjiro carries whilst trying to deal with it and overcoming it. He constantly apologies for everything and blames himself. The death of his family, rengoku’s death, inosuke’s fake death etc. he shouldn’t have to shoulder these responsibilities alone even if that’s what he feels as a lone survivor. The scene with nezuko and her dialogue really hit hard. Tanjiro is such a well written mc and is why he’s one of my favourite protagonists.
