Musicians on this video:

Paul Michael Meredith is a blues harmonica player from the San Francisco bay area. Dr. SaxLove (aka Mark Maxwell) is a Detroit area blues saxophone player. Together they make some killer blues magic!

The band is righteous as well; look these guys up - you'll be impressed:

Garth Webber: blues guitar
Tony Lufrano: keys
Endre Tarczy: bass
Jimmy Sanchez: drums

So if you like blues harmonica songs, jazz saxophone blues, guitar blues, jazz blues, fast blues, slow blues, 12 bar blues ... you're gonna love this music! It really is the best blues harmonica music.

Enjoy!

Everyone who reads this, we don't know each other and probably never will but I wish you all the best in life and all the luck in the world

This reminds me of growing up near Oakland in the 60's and 70's. white kids, purple kids, black kids, kids with polka dots. Back then the American way was to respect everyone's heritage and culture. I grew up listening to Stevie Wonder, blues, jazz and appreciating all kinds of music and people. Young people are missing so much today with hatred on all sides. I love this music. You don't have to be black and grown up a slave in North Carolina to appreciate this kind of music. That guitar player reminds me of BB King's twangs sometimes. Keep more great music coming please! In the meantime I'll get back to my sweatin to the blues moves. 🙂

This is by far the best comment section i've ever seen. Channel owner answering people and even having conversations with them, people commenting on how pleasing it is to feel the jazz, and an overall great attitude from pretty much everyone. Is this even Youtube?

Left Dorchester, MA July '19 and found my way back here. Good to be back. Enjoy this post immensely. Thanx.
  • A couple of jazzy poems for you, Mark, and your great music: To dream in jazz is to become jazz. Close your eyes and listen— go to where jazz becomes life. Here your eyes reopen, you’ll become jazz— and I will sing the blues in my soul. Creating sounds so smooth, golden hues from your golden sax only the angels could duplicate, carried so high, it might be heaven your fingers moving with elegance, …………..ballroom dancing on the keys. Thanx for the experience --- you truly are a healer, DrSaxLove!
