UK-born movie star, Colin Firth, has spent most of his years living in his native country and other European spots. His main home for most of his life has been his Victorian-style estate in West London, while he also spent plenty of time in his eco-friendly property in Italy. English film actor, Colin Firth has had himself a charming career over the past couple of decades, appearing in award-winning films like ‘The English Patient”, “Shakespeare in Love” and “The King’s Speech”, as well as some popular box-office hits like “The Kingsmen”, “Bridget Jones Diary”, and more. But as for his personal life? Well, that’s something of a different story. Born in Grayshott, Hampshire in England, Colin’s parents were academics and teachers who moved him around the entire globe when he was just a small child, spending time in both Nigeria and St. Louis, Missouri, which didn’t make life easy on the talented youngster. Then, upon returning to England, Firth and his family settled into Winchester where he spent the remainder of his childhood in a three-story home. That’s where Colin realized that he wasn’t nearly as academically inclined as his two parents and decided to pursue a career in acting. After a short-lived relationship with Meg Tilly, Colin would meet and marry film producer, Livia Giuggioli in 1997. The couple would have two sons while splitting their time between their properties in London, and a home in Livia’s home country of Italy. Unfortunately, despite being together for a very long time, these two would divorce in 2019.
