Nice... it has the definite cool factor, but it's also a pretty transferable shape, so super useful as well.

Greetings from the UK. Thanks for another great live session. I’m watching this today (Saturday) as usual and enjoying it tremendously. I can’t remember whether it was the Replica Prop Forum or the great ‘Parts of Star Wars’ site but somehow I know that the heavy knurled part of the Obi Wan sabre handle was made from a type of hand grenade. I guess it’s the shrapnel casing? One observation- the gear teeth shapes you made for the base of the handle are called out in one of the cross sections where you can see that they are splayed like chocolate bar segments. I can’t wait for the next session.
  • I'm always going to sit down for it, very interesting what you do. Do you also use the TrueBend plugin?

Hello, I am confused how you rescaled the line at the beginning of the video to 282. When I tried it, it just cut my line to make it shorter.

I've learn't soooo much during these Live Modelling episodes. I'm unable to watch it live as you start about 04:00 local time. I live in Port Huon Tasmania Down Under. Like it better when you have an off-sider. Must admit I'm a Guides user, instead of drawing Lines.
