The suspect succumbed to his wounds two weeks after the incident. Neither of the officers were injured during the shootout. This deserves a thumbs up.

Officers never know what they're going to meet each day. When I was 15 I heard footsteps on the porch and thinking it was my mom, home from shopping, I flung open the door with a huge smile on my face. He was there to tell us she was dead. That was 55 years ago and I still cry at the memory. They deserve so much respect for taking on the job.

Amazing how the officer was shooting left handed while radioing dispatch and dropping the mag at the same time. So fluid under pressure. Crazy skills.

Amazed how no innocent ppl were struck by wildly shooting at each other. . . That was the definition of spray and pray.

I was a EMT 1 for 11yrs and once while off duty talked a woman down from jumping off a freeway over pass to her death , it was the best day of my life while it was her worst , and the stress you feel in these situations was overwhelming, I remember her vividly , Thank you Linda for not jumping that day . I hope you are well and your life was worth it !#//!

It's a real shame the taxpayers had to pay for the suspect's medical treatment for 2 weeks prior to succumbing to his injuries.

Glad to hear the bad guy reached room temperature! Outstanding work by both officers! As far as the number of rounds fired…if it were me, I’d be firing until somebody got back from the store with more ammo!
