The Orlando Police Department released bodycam footage showing a shootout between police and a suspect during a traffic stop. The suspect allegedly opened fire on the officers as soon as they exited their cruisers, prompting the officers to fire back. The suspect fled in his vehicle after being hit by gunfire and crashed while fleeing. Officers arrived at the scene of the crash before calling for medical assistance to treat the wounded suspect. Neither of the officers were injured during the shootout. The suspect succumbed to his wounds two weeks after the incident.

The suspect succumbed to his wounds two weeks after the incident. Neither of the officers were injured during the shootout. This deserves a thumbs up.
  • I can't believe how calm the 2 officers that were shot at remained.
  • Warms my heart to read that not only did they catch him, but he also died. The world is a slightly better place now.

It is a very good thing to see that the cops had a partner with them.

She was so cool about it: "That was pretty close." Umm yeah, that looked real close. Nice work!

Officers never know what they're going to meet each day. When I was 15 I heard footsteps on the porch and thinking it was my mom, home from shopping, I flung open the door with a huge smile on my face. He was there to tell us she was dead. That was 55 years ago and I still cry at the memory. They deserve so much respect for taking on the job.
  • I love when the bad guys die...makes me all warm inside. Thank you to all Police officers who deal with idiots and criminals...God bless you all.

"The suspect succumbed to his wounds two weeks after the incident." Another happy ending
  • Amazing how the officer was shooting left handed while radioing dispatch and dropping the mag at the same time. So fluid under pressure. Crazy skills.

the female officer was so chill after literally dodging bullets

For those who like to judge the police, imagine having to potentially deal with a situation like this at any time during your work day. How do you think you'd handle that stress?
  • Amazed how no innocent ppl were struck by wildly shooting at each other. . . That was the definition of spray and pray.

I was a EMT 1 for 11yrs and once while off duty talked a woman down from jumping off a freeway over pass to her death , it was the best day of my life while it was her worst , and the stress you feel in these situations was overwhelming, I remember her vividly , Thank you Linda for not jumping that day . I hope you are well and your life was worth it !#//!

It's a real shame the taxpayers had to pay for the suspect's medical treatment for 2 weeks prior to succumbing to his injuries.
  • Glad to hear the bad guy reached room temperature! Outstanding work by both officers! As far as the number of rounds fired…if it were me, I’d be firing until somebody got back from the store with more ammo!

You need to make an outro of some sort to give space for your recommendation video clicks, it is preventing from seeing the full video at the end;)

The "Up next" boxes on the screen at the end block the view of the gun you pointed to with the arrow.
