We are Ben and MP!
Recently we decided to purchase a two-masted wooden schooner in Brazil. The fun detail about our story is that the boat we bought was sinking and relying on many bilge pumps to survive so we had to lift it onto the dry to start a full refit. Once the boat was lifted (for the first time in her life) we realized that the work needed was much more than expected. Between bailing or accepting the challenge, we decided to go for the second option. Watch us as we bring Yabá back to life with the help of an amazing team of traditional shipwrights, sharing every phase of the process, overcoming the highs and lows and having fun along the way.

Zeca is one hell of a man seeing him swing the sledge hammer at his ages puts us all to shame. He is certainly a talented man in ship building and moving boats with his team. He definitely deserves a pat on the back for saving your boat and bringing her back from the end. Dear Maria Paula and Ben, For you it might be hard to understand but WIlleke and I are even more exiting than you are to learn that Yabá will be launched in the next week episode of your vlogs. We started to look at your vlogs from the first moment on and got kinda addicted to your YouTube channel. Also by the way your families and friends are supporting you is for us heart warming. How time flies, I didn't realize it has been so long, I remember coming here from Odd Life Crafting after your first appearance there and finding out about Yaba, like others I was very skeptical about saving her at first but your enthusiasm grew on me, I was your seventh member on Patreon and have not regretted it for a second, although i'll never actually work on Yaba it's nice to know that in a small way I have contributed to bringing her back to life. You guys are amazing, you have achieved what many of us only dream about, it's not about just bringing a boat back to life which in itself is wonderful, it's about having a dream and then making that dream come through with hard work, hope and love.
