Thank you! I am new to quilting and I appreciate your instructions. I love this quilt. I wish I had started this earlier in life. 🥰

This style of quilting is a great way to quilt on your own. It’s the way I learned. It’s fun watching you do it. I swear I could feel the fabric.
  • Thank you for going over the diamond quilting. I just finished my potato chip quilt; so easy. Now I'm going to "try" the diamond quilting. So much fun!

Gosh that’s a pretty quilt!! Love the diamond pattern, thank you for the tips and for showing us how. As a visual learner this is invaluable 🥰

I was wondering which of the potato chip blocks to try, but you've solved that problem. I can make each version and just make a double sided. Thanks! 😍🥰
  • Your quilt is absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing. You’ve inspired me to try both the potato chip pattern as the diamond quilting. Like you, I’ve always ended up with squares. Will try 60 degrees plus 30 degrees.
  • Your reversible quilt is beautiful. Did both sides of your quilt come out even? Yes, it is a bummer when your machine acts up while quilting. Sewing through so many layers of fabric is hard on any sewing machine. The last time I did a lot of machine quilting, both of my Kenmore sewing machines acted up (the bobbin area fell out of one of them, and the foot control kept getting stuck in a running position on the other). I ended up finishing the quilting on my Singer 301 antique sewing machine. The more modern machines just don't hold up as well. I need to take at least five of my sewing machines in for servicing. Two of them also need repairs. Two other sewing machines need to be given away; because, I just don't like to use them. The Potato Chip method is a good addiction; because, it will not hurt your health and you get to have a lot of fun while making beautiful quilts.
  • Your quilts turned out great! I love your fabrics! I made a reversible table topper and quilted with diagonal seems. That makes squares. I am going to try diamonds on my next project.

You always have the prettiest quilts and encourage me to try something new. I appreciate you and your videos!!
  • I do the same with ironing board on my left. I have trouble with quilt hanging and dragging on my right. I put quilt on my lap and pulling it up on my chest but still falls and drags. Any suggestions. Don't have another ironing board or table.
  • I absolutely love EVERYTHING about that quilt! I’m looking forward to trying diamond quilting but will definitely practice beforehand so as not to get squares or parallelograms. I hope your sewing machine only requires an easy fix. Thank you!!

Your quilt is awesome. I learned a lot and plan on doing some of this. The quilting looks so cute. Thank you. 🎉

Your potato chip quilts are very pretty, I haven't made one yet, but you are tempting me. My machine is in the shop now getting serviced. I'm using a backup machine and it is taking a bit to get the hang of it.
