Justin, I have tried using my webcam to go live on youtube with not success at all!! I had no idea that I had to download a software. Was browsing YouTube just to figure out how to start YouTubing and specifically using OBS. Well three vids in this is the best one so far and very detailed in me learning all the screen setup in the software. I’ll have to even revisit and rewatch this vid again so I understand everything. It never goes to say if you make a tutorial explain it properly so a new person can understand and know how to use the thing your explaining and this was explained in detail I needed and will help me on my first video. But you got me as a new subscriber.

i went through 20 plus tutorials where each one had some part missing or the order not quite building up but rather back and forth through all features of OBS - so thanks finally for this one. To us around here it is the first tutorial after many others that seems very good for beginners, building from the bottom up, no rush, everything explained by its practicality - for us a relief: many thanks!! Thanks. I needed this for one of my jobs where we need to record virtual tours. I wasn’t liking the idea of holding my cellphone up and recording a screen for an hour. Plus with this I can do so much more than just screen capturing.

And, I'm sure it was intended, but as I was going along, I realized I that the tutorial itself was (obviously) made using OBS and was therefore a living example of a nice, basic OBS-made video.
