Donald Trump will return to a New York courtroom Tuesday as a judge works to find a panel of jurors who will decide whether the former president is guilty of criminal charges alleging he falsified business records to cover up a sex scandal during the 2016 campaign.

The first day of Trump's history-making hush money trial in Manhattan ended with no one yet chosen to be on the panel of 12 jurors and six alternates. Dozens of people were dismissed after saying they didn't believe they could be fair, though dozens of other prospective jurors have yet to be questioned.

9NEWS legal analyst Whitney Traylor weighs in on the case.

Question... What stands between us and the WEF plans for us?

He will not get convicted by a jury as it only takes ONE MAGA supporter to not convict. Happened in Australia when a slam dunk trial for corruption against the Queensland Premier was foiled by just ONE supporter of the political party of the Premier who would just not convict after weeks of arguing with the other 11 jurors. As a result the law was changed in Australia to a majority verdict, meaning a verdict of only 11 of 12 jurors was required.

I cannot believe that they can excuse a defendant that killed his own child from his trial. Who had past felonies AND plead guilty. But Trump must be in court everyday. This is a shit show! And a quote "WITCH HUNT".

"Hush money" lol. We used to call it blackmail. In a normal world SD would be on trial.

Didn’t we already go through this before? Didn’t he already win? What laws did he break? When are people going to wake up?
  • I very much enjoyed this Lawyer's take. He was very matter-of-fact and did not show any bias in one way or another. A very welcome watch considering that no one can say anything today without some stupid opinion.
  • Did they ever even present evidence that there was an affair? Or was it always a scam to prevent him from running?

Who cares about "hush money". What about America?
  • @gumshoe2273
Arguably, any out of court settlement can now be called "hush money".
  • Who are the legal experts he keeps referencing? This has nothing to do with American people or current election. There are many first time offenders in jail!
  • in the real world when you brake the law you must pay the piper, no matter who you are

It’s about to get stormy over there…

How can you use witnesses who have changed their stories multiple times?

Worldwide public announcement for this one Drizzle. Mankind's intersection. He's King. And behold I come quickly as it is written. Everyone wails because of him as it is written. God can't lie as it is written. I have not spoken in secret from the beginning.

7-10 side with Trump over the “trials”.
