I wonder how the sound is affected by the difference of material. After all, Titanium and Stainless sound different, though it is a very minor difference in overtones, and the only way to get a good comparison is to otherwise have the exact same design and sizes between systems. For your mufflers, I know you're probably not going to redo them, but if you did, I'd recommend FAR more slots/perforations, and a 5-inch diameter case. Maybe a longer body to match the diameter, too, like 15 inches.
Really cool that you used aluminum, though. Lots of heat conductivity, and lightweight, even when you compensate the strength loss coming from steel with thicker material. -
